Rate of new COVID-19 cases drops slightly, while King County reports just one new death – KOMO News

Health officials reported just over 175 new COVID-19 cases statewide Tuesday, an increase lower than the previous few days, while protesters plan to march in several cities for a fifth consecutive day. The Washington Department of Health reported 22,157 coronavirus cases Tuesday, up 180 from Monday, and an additional five deaths. Officials said 3,543 people have been hospitalized because of the deadly virus.
