Pothole breakdowns at three-year high


Councils are losing the battle against potholes, as the RAC reveals pothole-related breakdowns have reached a three-year high.The breakdown service says it dealt with more call-outs for damage occurring as a result of a pothole in the second three months of 2018, than any second quarter since 2015. It reports that between April and June 2018, the RAC was called out 4,091 times for damage to shock absorbers, broken suspension springs and distorted wheels.
