Following protest, business manager of Johnson City pawn shop charged with simple assault – WCYB

The business manager of a Johnson City pawn shop has been charged with simple assault stemming from an incident involving New Panthers members on Monday. A group of New Panthers wanted to buy guns from the shop but the manager, identified as Daryl Lovelace, asked the group to leave. An argument then took place, according to police.
