City leaders respond to local landscaping business owner’s fraud sentence

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – City leaders are responding to the conviction of a major local landscaper. Cincinnati City Councilmember Tamaya Dennard says she will introduce a motion that would ban any contractor convicted of fraud from getting city business. A federal judge sentenced Doug Evans Tuesday to 21 months in federal prison. He’s the owner of Newtown-based Evans Landscaping.
